How to remove decommissioned computers from BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM) database?
Hello, Is there a supported method to remove decommissioned computers from the MBAM database in order to keep compliance report data clean and up to date? Thank you.

Manoj, What is the unsupported way, please?

Unsupported way is to run SQL commands and remove the information from Compliance DB. We do not recommend this, since if a computer is lost/stolen or decomission and after 6 months you see Reports, you will not see this information, since you have deleted the information from the SQL DB. We recommend to use a Start Date/End Date when you view your Enterprise Compliance Reports. This information in SQL DB does not take much size and is very small. I hope this helps. Manoj Sehgal

Has anyone come up with a solution for this? The Microsoft answer here is completely unacceptable. I need to see ALL computers on my compliance reports, even the ones that haven't checked-in recently. I do not however want to see computers that I can verify have been decommissioned. I attempted a simple delete from the machines table in the compliance DB in SQL, but there were constraints in place since it had related keys in other tables and I didn't want to muck with it too much in fear of corrupting my db somehow. No, but I've got the same probem. Surely Microsoft can provide an SQL query, to remove a workstation from the MBAM database...Dan
