UAG1 (master) NOT copying the config file to UAG2 (member)????

I have run into a strange problem and not sure what is causing the problem.

When I configure the UAGs, it activates correctly on UAG1 (master) - however, it will show in the activation monitor that it activated successfully on UAG2 (member), BUT, then it gets a RED X for UAG and it looks like no files are copied over. The configuration running on 2 is only missing a timeout on one of the trunks (13 altogether), but it completed successfully on 1.

This is new behavior and the first time that I have seen something like this.  There are no errors listed in the "Message" box and says that it completed successfully - but it looks like it can't copy the file(s) over to the member UAG, which I think is why it has the red X.

Suggestions as to where to look for some kind of error or hint as to what is happening (servers, network, etc)?

Thanks,

John

Additional Information:

I see some strange messages in the TMG logging:

(Date)     x.x.6.176    x.x6.179    2171     MS Firewall Storage     Denied Connection

6.176 is UAG2 and 6.179 is UAG1.  I don't ever remember seeing this message.  On UAG2, 6.176 is defined on the interface, but NOT assigned to any trunk.  On UAG1, 6.179 is defined for a trunk and is the primary address for UAG1 when looking at the UAG software configuration.  There has been some changing of network gear by the site network folks (not me), but these two UAGs, I have been told, are on the same switch.

Suggestions as to where to start looking for what might be causing the problem?

Thanks,

John
