Hi, Thanks for the reply :) The sync problems were resolved. However, I think that during the process a folder was selected for deletion that should have been kept (it had been deleted on the server and the files modified on the laptop). I have been trying to recover the contents of that folder. What I find odd is that I can't find anything anywhere in \namespace to recover. Even if not retrievable, or a relevant file, I'd have expected to find something in an area that she has been using for two years. Any other location on the hd brings up tons of old data. Regards Gez

Hi all, Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide (and apologies if the answer is already here and I just failed to find it). My scenario is this... A Vista user had not sync'd their Offline Files since before the holidays (mid-december). When syncing today they had 20 or so conflicts. After all of these were resolved some of the files they had been working on while away had gone. I suspect that while resolving their sync conflicts a folder was deleted that contained the files. I don't think the files themselves ever made it to the server. Is there a way to get them back? I have searched their files within C:\Windows\CSC\v2.0.6\namespace\%location of their files%. I have also tried Undelete360 & EASEUS Data Recovery Pro neither of which found anything. Or, to be more precise, they didn't find anything I could directly identify as the missing files. Could it be that they aren't being found due to the csc file permissions that were on them prior to the delete? If so is there any way round that? Is there a cache or dat file somewhere that might still have them? If so, how would I extract them? Or could I restore one of the dats found by the recovery software? Many thanks Gez
