How to limit which users have access to Homegroup
Win7x86 Ult. RTM.Homegroup set up just fine. Problem is, now all 3 users ( 2 admin, 1 standard ) have access to my personel desktop computerfiles. Is there a way to only haveone user (me,)with access tothe secondHomegroup computer, so when the other two users log on, they will NOT have access to addition computer?

Do not share files to Homegroup so others can still using Homegroup. Use Advance share and share the file to the local account. Other user will need to input the local user name and password to access the shared file. I'm trying to find if there is any other method we can try. Will post here later if find anything.

After testing, add to Homegroup is per computer, so if one user added to Homegroup, it actually adds the computer to homegroup so other users will also have permission to access shared files. Thus as I mentioned, let's do not share the files to Homegroup as we do not want to share them to all users. Just use the general share function to share it per user so that other users cannot access them.
