Hi,

if you don't want to have builtin redundancy for your TMG Server with TMG arrays and network Load Balancing, simply add a additonal TMG Server like the first TMG server and configure the new TMG Server in the same way as the old TMG Server and after a sucessful installation/configuratin check if a client is able to switch to the new TMG Server

Hi,

Well yes i want to have this second TMG Server as another one which should not be the same as the actual one so they dont need to have redundancy its just an idea that users can just change it to TMG2 on their TMG Client.
Is that just a simple second installation and thats it? Do i need to configure it also to the Domain server?

Hi,

Thank you for the post.

"Is that just a simple second installation and thats it? Do i need to configure it also to the Domain server?" - yes, you may just install and configure the new TMG.  Whether it should be joing the domain, it depends on many general considerations as per this guide: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd897048.aspx

Thanks alot. I installed it and it runs now and installed TMG. Now when i want to import the other TMG we have all the TMG Data i get this errror:

The file cannot be imported because the array SRVTMG2 is of version (null) in the exported file and version (null) in the stored configuration.

The error occurred on object 'SRVTMG2' of class 'Array' in the scope of array 'SRVTMG2'.

Can anyone help??
