Please be more specific as to what you are trying to do. by default an APIPA (Automatic Private IP Address) is assigned to a network interface. This address is in the 169.254.0.0 /16 range of addresses, and allows for machines on a single network
segment to communicate without any additional addressing needs.
If you have a larger network, you will want to use DHCP which is available on Windows Server platforms. This service will allow you to configure a range of addresses to be handed out to the client machines from a centralized repository of addresses.
The most inefficient mechanism is to manually assign the addresses to each interface.
