How to get the deleted encrypted drive as it only shows 250total available space in Disk management
I had encrypted my C:/ drive (with the help of a techy guy). It worked fine for 5 months. After 5 months I faced some issues with Windows, so I thought to reimage the machine with Windows 7. I did the same, however during installation of Win7 it showed drive C:/ and Drive D:/. I deleted the Drive C:/ to format and its gone, tried to load the windows from starch however still 250 gb of space is not there, so now installed Win7 on only remaining drive D:/. I had 500 GB of hard disk divided in 2 partitions. Now I only see 224 GB in My Computer. I tried to check in Disk Management and that also show only 224 GB, no unallocated space. I don't want to recover my data from encrypted drive; however I need that space of 250 GB.

Hi, 1. Take the steps below to check if it can be recognized via the command. a. Click Start, click "All programs", and click "Accessories". b. Right-click "Command Prompt", and click "Run as administrator". If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. c. In the command prompt, type diskpart and press Enter. And then type list disk and press Enter. 2. Try to create a partition by using create partition primary command.
