How to get rid of yellow network warning for air-gapped networks?
I'm looking at deploying Windows 7 on a network that deliberately has no connection to the Internet. The Networking and Sharing Center icon shows a yellow alert indicating this. I'm concerned that this is going to confuse users. Is there a way to tell Windows 7 that it's ok not to have Internet connectivity and not show that alert or must I simply hide the icon entirely?

Hi, thanks for the post. We can simply hide the icon from system tray:
1. Right click on task bar and choose Properties.
2. Click Customize in Notification area.
3. Choose Hide icon and notifications on Network.
Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT

Thanks. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do that, but it seems the best option available.
