But currently that app is not installed. .NET not selected/installed in Control Panel -> Programs and Functions -> Windows Components .NET related services stopped and disabled permanently. No .NET related items under Control Panel -> Programs and Functions No .NET related items in All Programs menu Windows Update reports a critical update was available for download and installation. It is the .NET 3.5 SP1 or similar, I don't remember it exactly. I wanna to get rid of these security update notifications by removing the .NET frameworks of any version. The absent stuff simply doesn't need any security update. Actually, I want to get rid of the related vulnerability. The famous .NET clean and verification utilities have been applied. No success. Windows still reporting a important .NET update available and to be applied. I don't want to have this .NET 3.5 SP1 because no one on this machine needs this.
