How to fix mistake on additional email ID's, or can I just delete and then re-enter the ID with the correct  incoming and outgoing mail setting?  This is important as is my busines email address!!!!!!!!!!
I mistakenly put the wrong outgoing mail server when I was setting up a new email identity. I put SMTp instead of SMTP and when I go to 'Properties' to fix it, it just had a box to add a password, no place to change the incoming and outgoing setup. So, my questions are:1) is there any way that I can access the Incoming/OUtgoing set-up for the identity without deleting it and where do I find that? 2) can I delete the identity and then re-enter it and if so, will I be able to fix the mistake. When I looked up on Help for Outlook Express, it said that I could delete the identity and all settings would be deleted but the data would be retained 3) can I re-use a deleted identity. this is super important, as this is my business email address in Outlook Express. THANK YOU!!!!!1 person needs an answerI do too

Did you password protect the identity and then forget the password? Just create a new identity correctly and import all the messages from the old one to the new one.http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/how.htm#delnopass Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail]
