How to enable only TLS 1.1 on Windows 7
I am trying to SSTP to a windows 2008 server. The server has been configured to only accept TLS 1.1. How can I enable the client (windows 7) to only use TLS 1.1? I have tried pretty much everything possible recommendations in this forum including the registry settings and IE (although I am not sure how IE settings affect an SSTP connection) but with fail. I have installed a network monitor and looked at the TCP packets being sent from Windows 7 to RRAS server. In there I do see TLS version 1.0. Please note that after the registry changes (adding TLS 1.1 key under SCHANNEL and Enabling it, disabling other keys for SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0) I have rebooted the machine for changes to take effect. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.Tishon Us
