How to disable windows explorer to connect to WebDav folders
Hello I have a very confusing problem. When I open some server shares from my Windows 7 machine (our corporate image) from Run menu using \\servername.domain.com method (FQDN) I get a new Windows Explorer window with a list of shared folders on this server. As expected. But when I use server netbios name \\servername in windows explorer I get.... a list of IIS WebDav folders as if they are just ordinary shared folders!!! And the connection is established via HTTP port 80. Does anyone know what can cause this strange behavoir? My logon drivermapping sctripts are suffering, and many client applications
