How to disable sharing option through regedit ?

I'm not sure there is one.  There was a file sharing key DisableFileTransfer that you could set to 1, if that's what you're referring to, but this is best blocked using conferencing policies as seen here in Balu's post: http://communicationsknowledge.blogspot.com/2012/08/create-or-modify-meetings-conferencing.html

Thanks Anthony for the reply. For Disabling chat we can edit the regedit as below..

HKCU - Software - Policies - Microsoft - Communication--> DisableIM and set to 1.

Is there any similiar way i can disable the screen sharing option through regedit ? Is there any specific dword ?

Not that I'm aware of, I use this guide for reference, which I agree is quite old: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637140%28v=office.13%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

But a lot of the keys are the same, I never found a great one for disabling sharing.  Most of these were pulled into Lync policies so they can be applied to all clients logging in whether they're on the domain or not.

Hi,

The best way to disable the sharing option is by Conferencing Policy. Create new conference policy with Set-CsConferencingPolicy and set the parameter EnableAppDesktopSharing to None. This setting is enforced at the per-user level. That means that some users in a conference might be allowed to share their desktop or applications while other users in the same conference might not be allowed to do so.
