Hi, In Windows 7, you can apply a Group Policy “Turn off desktop gadgets” to disable Windows Gadgets. Windows 2003 Server doesn’t include this group policy, to apply it, you need to push the group policy from Windows Server 2008 or later servers. Alternatively, you could go to “Turn Windows Features on or off” and uncheck the box “Windows Gadgets platform” to disable Windows Gadgets.
