How to delete windows 8.1 pro

as the title says i want to know how to delete win 8.1 pro finally!!!

i m using a laptop which runs on win xp 32bit and recently i installed win 8.1 pro 64bit to test it how it works on my laptop. my hdd has 2 partitions and i installed it in the other partition, not in the partition where win xp is located. after installing i found hat its not enjoyable on my laptop bcoz of my very small screen size and also and more importantly bcoz i didnt have complete access to the folders of win xp 32bit so that i can copy my files from here to win 8.1 pro 64bit. so i rebooted my laptop and i logged in win xp and deleted the partition where win 8.1 pro 64bit was located. then i rebooted my laptop again  and while booting, my laptop wasnt booing. it just showed a win 8 logo and below it was written preparing automatic repair. however it took a lot of time so i gave up on it and turned off my laptop and then started it and installed win 8.1 pro 64bit for the second time for my laptop to boot. after installing i rebooted and this time they gave me the choice to choose the os in which i want to boot but now there were 2 win 8.1 pro 64bits. i selected win xp 32bit but now i left win 8.1 pro 64bit as it is. so i want to know how to delete win 8.1 pro 64bit in my laptop on another partition from a win xp 32bit on another partition and also i want to know how to remove the other win 8.1 from the boot menu.

When I do things like this one, I backup original installation. After finishing my tests I restore from backup.

Better forum for questions like this one is in answers.microsoft.com

Pretty sure the steps are the same for removing other OS's, the second link provided by Santanu should work.
