How to delete folder in program files (corrupted uninstall)
Vista Home Premium, current SP Trend micro AV was replaced with Norton. When uninstalling Trend, it did not take. Trend gives a manual uninstall of changing registry and deleting program files. When I try to delete folder in program files I get access denied. I logged as adminstrator with same message. What is the process to remove a foilder form program files? John Lenz

Boot into Safe Mode and try deleting the folder. If that doesn't work, try using Unlocker 1.9.1.Carey Frisch

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. The program files might still be in use, it is suggested to boot into Safe Mode and delete them.
