I live in a house with 7 other guys. One of them has created a homegroup, and frankly he's not someone I want to share with. I tried making a homegroup today for the guys I AM friends with to do stuff on, and my computer keeps wanting to join. We all run win7 ultimate 64bit, yay for msdn.

Hi, Home network can consist of only one contiguous IP subnet and in the IP subnet, only one HomeGroup can be created. If there is already a HomeGroup at home, you cannot create the second one. Hence, if you would like to create your own HomeGroup, please turn off HomeGroup on all another machine in the network. Thanks, Novak
