How to create a Windows image (WIM file) for Win8.1 Pro without getting error "file being used by another process"?

I'm trying to create a WIM file (in my 2nd computer) to use it with DISM /RESTOREHEALTH (in my 1st computer). I'm doing it in my 2nd computer which is running without any problem (even without Windows Update errors!). In my 2nd computer I'm commanding: DISM /CAPTURE-IMAGE /IMAGEFILE etc... . Both computers are Win 8.1 Pro 32bits pt-BR. It starts OK but after about 40 minutes it errors out with code 32: file already being used by another process. How to overcome such problem/error?

Hi

Please provide us more details about the capture process you did.

DISM Does not capture an image of an active drive. You need to be booted to a different drive or a Windows PE CD/DVD/USB.

Make sure you run these command line under Windows PE so the system image would be offline for capture process.

Follow the whole instructions as mentioned in the article below
