Hi,
I am writing a script using Netsh Commands in windows 8.1. When I was trying to connect EAP profiles which are configured with non stored credentials using netsh command, its not prompting for a user credential window. But same netsh command is working fine with a stored credential EAP profiles.
Steps I followed:
- created a Microsoft PEAP-MSCHAPv2 profile without saving credentials using default network manager in Windows 8.1.
- open the command prompt in admin mode to enter the following netsh command.
- netsh wlan connect name="profile name"
- It will show as "Connection request was completed successfully" but, it is not prompting a credential window.
I am not understanding why its not prompting for a credential because, its prompting and connecting if you press a connect button in a default network manager of Windows 8.1.
Please give me your suggestions to resolve this issue and please let me know if you need some more info to solve.
