why doesn't the scanner remove registry entries i know no longer have a connection to original program, i understand that some files are shared files. how do i get rid of them, i have no room on hard drive to run disk defrag. also in july a tech remotely worked on my computer, he uninstall my office programs and others, said i could go on line and reinstall , in the last 6 months i have searched online for this software and can't find them. how can i find out what files. etc. i can safely delete uninstall, with out affecting the operating system. i have XP PRO. older gateway computer, processor III, so a lot of new prog. won't work, am in process of ordering a new computer, but i still want to use this computer for word processing, pictures , internet, entertainment and planning games. i have an external WD hard drive, so i save pic, music, letter etc. on it. help i want to reinstall my printer. there are several programs i don't use, but when i uninstall one the prog name still in add/remove prog. uninstalled printer wasn't working correctly, still have HP HEWLETT PACKARD FILES ON COMPUTER FOR EVERY PRINTER I HAVE HAD SINCE 1999, same THING ON IE i have ie4 ie5 ie i now use IE8. sorry for caps, i'm to weary to go back and correct. i'm disabled, so spend lot time on computer. getting new one for a job i was offered at home. Sorry i put so much info here but i've tried so many ways to get help. neauxwan1 person needs an answerI do too
