How to change Microsoft Security Essentials' scheduled scan settings from the command line or in a script.
Is it possible to change Microsoft Security Essentials' scheduled scan settings from the command line or in a script? I know I can use the at command to schedule running the command line tool MpCmdRun.exe, but that does not let me change or remove the existing scheduled scan that is displayed in the software. Running regedit to merge in the relevant registry keys does not work because the keys are 'locked', presumably by the running MSSE program.1 person got this answerI do too
