Hello Experts,
I have to capture windows 8.1 with installed Metro Apps but I am getting below error
is it possible to capture windows8.1 with all mero apps installed or not ? .
thanks SenneVL..
But I want capture the Windows 8.1 with installed metro apps So that will get installed apps after deploying the captured image.
How to identified which particular application package cause failure for sysprep.
hello,
I have gone through this https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2769827 and also check the log file .Remove the packages that caused error during sysprep and after that it get sysprep without any error.
But the issue is that i need that app package(Metroapps) to be capture so to that apps get installed after deploying the captured image not to remove it then get captured.
Is there another way to get captured windows 8.1 with Metroapp without remove the MetroApp ?
Thanks
Richa KM
Hi Richa km ,
Have you noticed this sentence in the KB 2769827 ?
"If an All-user package provisioned into the image was un-provisioned manually from the image, but not removed for a particular user, then during sysprep, the provider will run into an error cleaning out this package. The provider will also fail if an All-user package provisioned into the image, was updated by one of the users on this reference machine."
If that is the issue ,we can delete the specific profile to have a check .Here is a link for reference :

Are the apps the LOB( line-of-business (LOB)) apps ?
If they are the LOB apps , we can try to use dism or powershell command to add them to the image .Here is a link for reference :

hello MeipoXu
I am having few issues with the capturing again
1. How can I create an all user packages & provision it.
2. Can we use the DISM approach to capture the store app or it works only for LOB apps.
Thanks

Hi Richa,
Yes ,the dism approach is only available for the LOB apps.
The key point of this issue is depending on the problematic apps .If it is a preinstalled windows store apps(LOB of Micorosoft),we can achieve your goal by deleting the specific user profile.
If it is a Windows store apps (not a LOB apps),I am afraid it will not be available .Because these apps installed is based on the user and the user accounts in different machines are different .So it is not available.
Best regards
