How to avoid duplicate network connections?
Hi In order to avoid duplicate data streams we have been forced to use 3rd party software from the hardware vendors in order to ensure the following behaviour: Whenever a computer connected to the wired LAN is disconnected (like when a laptop is removed from the dockingstation), the WiFi card/connection is enabled and the system is automatically connecting the corporate internal WiFi network Whenever a computer being connected to the WiFi network is plugged into the wired LAN, the WiFi connection is terminated. With Windows XP there was no way to do this with native tools. We're now moving to Windows 7. Is there a way to achieve this with native tools/settings or are we still dependant on 3rd party tools? If a system is connected Regards Rickard

I am sorry to say the case is still the same, you need to use A third part software for that. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itpronetworking/thread/00f65f45-898a-42b3-a97e-5b64561ad395/
