How to allow users to upgrade specific application?
We have certain applications that needs to be update weekly or monthly. Currently our users do not have local admin rights...which means that cannot install or update any software. Is there a way to allow the user to update only certain/specified application?

So you have a setup project building your applications as an MSI file? Can you do a remote network install by using it? Note that you'll need to make sure when you do push a network install, that prior to that, you check the client machine for the requirements to run your application and then push those requirements first. You'll want to do some research on technologies such as Microsoft's "Configuration Manager 2007".Rob

Thanks but that sounds complicated. Here's what I was wondering if Windows Vista or Windows 7 is able to do. Let's say I have a program called QuickTime installed on all 15 or so computers. Is there a way to pick QuickTime among many other apps installed in the computer and, say, allow users the ability to update QuickTime whenever there is an update version available?
