How to allow default users to share printers?
Hello and greetings from Portugal! I'm in a bit of a problem sharing printers! What I'm trying to do is to enable by default, users to be able to share printers like they did on Windows XP (because they were Power Users). On Windows 7 I can't figure out what I need to do for this to work. I've read a lot about using TweakUI but that doesn't work with Windows 7 and I can't find neither a GPO to do this. Can someone please help me on this one? Best Regards, Soultaker :: Geeking Around Technological World :: | http://frontslash.wordpress.com

Hi, Actually, the printer can be shared by default users, such as Standard user in Windows 7. Is your machine in a domain? Do you have any error message when trying to share printer by default user? For your reference, you can refer to the following article to share a printer in Windows 7. Share Files and Printers between Windows 7 and XP Note: The third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability. Thanks, Novak
