How to add an entry to DNS server so that the client can resolve a particular website through the internal DNS Server?
All my client trying to access an external website and got the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". But when I opened it with the DC/DNS server it did not encounter any problem, so I check the DHCP configuration there is an entry in the Server Options where the ISP DNS configuration was setup under 006 DNS Servers. If this entry is deleted the DC/DNS will have not be able to access the external website. Does anyone knows how can I fix this in the DNS setting so that all the local users can direct and access that external website?

Use nslookup and/or network monitor to analyze how the name is resolved. Rgds Milos

Jacklim, I believe your setup is wrong. Pointing local computers to use ISP DNS is wrong. You should arrange that local computers get DNS address of the local computer (usualy a Domain Controller (DC)). This DC can be configured to forward unknown requests to ISP DNS (a forwarder). In other words, your DHCP option "006 DNS Servers" should specify local DNS Server's IP address.
