How to add Enterprise Pool to existing Lync 2013 standard infrastructure.

I have an existing Lync setup with just standard pools.  I want to become highly available and want to create enterprise pools.

Do I need to just create the enterprise pools and move the users to the new pools or are there other steps?

Thanks

James

There are other steps, but that's the big one and summarizes about 95% of it.  The other steps would be moving the central management databases and moving any non-user objects such as common area phones or trusted applications, etc.

This 2010 to 2013 guide on TechNet is actually pretty useful even if you're migrating 2010 to 2010 or 2013 to 2013.  https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205369(v=ocs.15).aspx  It talks about the little things to consider like those I mentioned above.

Hi,

Agree with Anthony Caragol. If you want to migration users and CMS from Lync Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition and then delete Lync Standard Edition, you must run the steps with the help of link Anthony provided above.

What's more, you want to deploy an Enterprise pool for HA, you can deploy with the help of the link below:
