How to Delete My Themes
In working with Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Personalization, I can create a new desktop theme; however, I can not delete or remove a theme once it has been created. You can not build upon a theme and save it to itself either. The process of creating / deleting a theme should be straight forward. Creating is ok...deleting is not. Is this a bug or a setting issue?

When your on the themes page you can select one of the themes you made and right click on it and then select delete.

When your on the themes page you can select one of the themes you made and right click on it and then select delete. Pretty much this, but you have to click on another theme so the one you want to delete is not highlighted and then right click the theme you want to delete, then click on "Delete theme". If itshighlightedwhen you right click it, the only options are "Save theme" and "Save theme for sharing" Not veryintuitive, hopefully it will be tweaked in an update.

The theme you want to delete cant be in use. Try applying a complety different theme, and try again.

THANK YOU! This worked, and I had so many duplicates from editing, adding more pictures to theme, etc. that I wanted to delete the old ones and couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for this. Certainly NOT intuitive, when this is a microsoft product and doesn't work the way everything else works in MS-world! Cheers
