Device One HP STREAM RTL8723BE 11.6"

Device Two ASUS Q400

I want use HDMI cable to connect these two devices screen. Device Two work as main screen, Device one work as second screen.

I was thinking is there a way to boot laptop monitor screen only.

To do this you need 2 HDMI ports (Output and Input) on the laptop to support this. Alienware M17x and M18x models have 2 HDMI ports. One for input and one for output.

You could use an HDMI splitter if you like to use second external  laptop monitor is going to simply be a mirror of the first.

Otherwise,If there is HD TV Tuner card/box it can  accept HDMI input.
