How to Configure Windows 7 Firewall to allow VPN access
I have established a VPN connection into my local network from the outside. I have had to turn off the firewall of a specific computer in my local network so I can access its files and connect RDP. What settings in the firewall of the specific computer do I enable to allow this inbound traffic, so I can enable the firewall. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I would like to suggest you perform the following steps to allow Remote Desktop through Windows Firewall: 1. Launch Windows Firewall 2. Click Allow a program of feature through Windows Firewall 3. Check Remote Desktop 4. Click OK If it does not work, you may also allow the ports the following article mentions through Windows Firewall: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc776171(WS.10).aspx Regards, Arthur Li - MSFT
