Hi, I can't change my network from public to home because it says the network is unidentified. I have been looking around for a solution and most of them says to use MMC and change the group policy but I can't seem to do it cause I'm running on Windows 7 home edition. Can anyone help me please?

Same question. When I use my smartphone to connect to the internet, my work ethernet LAN is changed to unidentified public. How can I (a) prevent Windows7 from clobbering my workgroup network -or- (b) easily restore the settings/configuration of my workgroup network? Thanks. abideth all three
