How many times can you activate Win7 i MAK mode on same PC
Hello, I will need to run Win7 on some PCs soon, and this will be an On-off situation. Some days they will run Win7 and others they'll be back on XP. We don't have enough of them to warrant a KMS host sollution. So lets say that we have a MAK key for 25 machines, how many times kan we re-install and re-activate the SAME machines with MAK keys? Does that make sense?? -Nick

Hello Nick,Each activation counts for one on a MAK key, doesn't matter if it's the same machine or not.Everytime you activate, you reduce the count by one. If you start running low, you will need to contact the Volume Licensing to get more activations added to you MAK key. Thanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights

Hi,I agree wit6h Darrell, MAK activates systems on a one-time basis regardless of machine. Based on your situation, have you considered parallel install Windows XP and Windows 7 on the same machine?
