Hi, Some sites do have the facility to watch the video online for free but if you want to download you might have to pay for the same. Just browsing to any infected site would infect your computer with worms and virus you need not have to open to download anything from the site. It is advisable not to browse to site which you are not sure of the source. Also make sure that your computer is secured well with proper Antivirus if you are browsing to any such website.http://www.microsoft.com/security/pypc.aspxhttp://support.microsoft.com/gp/cu_sc_virsec_master#tab1 Hope this information is helpful.Amrita MMicrosoft Answers Support EngineerVisit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

HI, Yes, the computer might get affected even if you visit an infected site. It is not advisable to open mails from unknown or unidentified sources as they might have virus in the mail itself which might hijack your personal information. Also, files attached with some mails might affect your computer as they files may be corrupted. So you need to be careful while accessing any online content. You may refer to the link given below.http://www.microsoft.com/security/antivirus/indicators.aspxhttp://www.microsoft.com/security/antivirus/rogue.aspxhttp://www.microsoft.com/protect/learnabout/iemalware.aspx Hope this information is helpful.Amrita MMicrosoft Answers Support EngineerVisit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

Of course you can get a virus from an e-mail. This is probably the #1 or #2 way folks get infected. Most common is when folks open an attachment, especially one from someone they don't know. However, you can get infected simply by opening the e-mail. Similar to infected web sites, this is called a "drive by" infection. You need to be sure that your AV software will scan incoming e-mails (as well as being up to date).--------Regards,Hank ArnoldMicrosoft MVPWindows Server - Directory Serviceshttp://it.toolbox.com/blogs/personal-pc-assistant/On 10/28/2010 7:10 PM, sonny6913 wrote:sorry i just saw your other answer..ok..can i get a virus from an e.mail???that i would like to know???Regards, Hank Arnold (MVP - DS)
