How do you get windows defender to quit moperating I have the trial version and I can't shut it off or remove it. Forget about the link to turn off and on the trial version doesn't offer admin option.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi crzymn, Thank you for taking the time to post. Depending on which Operating System/Service Pack levelyou are using, you can uninstall or disable the real time protection for Windows Defender. To uninstall open Add/Remove Programs and remove Windows Defender, if uninstall is not an option then open Windows Defender and uncheck the option for real time protection, this will disable Defender from running.
