Windows 7 Ultimate How do I transfer a user profile on the same machine? A given machine needs to change domains. I need to transfer the user profile on the same machine. I also need the profile transferred as-is. I realize I can copy the entire user folder and exclude ntuser.dat but for some reason this method doesn't preserve certain things like the desktop arrangement, MRU's and so on.
