How do I restore a master.mdf file with SQL server express?
I have a Windows 7 system where SQL Express 2005 was installed and running. A third party application was successfully using it, with an installed database until recently. The master.mdf file does not exist anymore and the service will not start. I found
a backup of the database file in the Backup folder under the SQL server folder.

SQL Server Fix Toolbox it restores
sql databases starting with SQL Server 2000
