I am trying to connect a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit system through my wireless network to my Vista Ultimate 32-bit system. I have no problems that I am aware of with my Win 7 system. I can see my Vista computer in Windows Explorer and the Network Control panel on my Windows 7 system and the same on my Vista system.. When I try to connect from my Windows 7 system to my Vista system, a Windows Security box pops up and reads "Enter Network Password (to connect to Windows Vista system). It gives me user name and password fields to fill out. I know the user name for my Vista system work group. I do not know the password. (I thought I had copied the correct password, but it doesn't work.) My entry fails. A new Enter Network Password box pops up with Computer Name/User name and a password box. None of what I think are my passwords for the Vista system work. So my questions are: Do I need to change the Vista Work Group password? How do I change this password? Am I using the wrong information to connect? Please forgive my questions. I've never tried to establish computer connections through a network.
