Setup was not responding to my keyboard to allow me to boot from disk, even after resetting to factory defaults. But I solved the problem - bad power supply - it finally burned out. And after replacing it, everything worked as it should. I was able to delete my one and only partition to wipe the hard drive, then it allowed me to install a fresh clean XP OS. Now, with all of the software programs that I use downloaded, I still have 65% free space on my hard drive. Thanks for all of your responses to help.
