How do I remove Bing?
Folks, I would like to RID my sys of anything, everything, occurence, reference, annoying pop-ups, registry entries(am comfortable and familiar with doing so), and anything else BING related. I don't like the intrusion, and or, forced to look/gaze upon this annoyance. Thanks for and help/advice, Horatio

Close all open Web browsers on your computer, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari or any other browser you have open. Click "Start Menu," select "Settings" then select "Control Panel." Click "Add\Remove Programs. Find the listing for "Bing Bar" and click "uninstall." Restart your Internet Explorer browser and the Bing Toolbar will be removed. Sir, I should have been much more precise...the above was done. Specifically, there a quite a few instances of Bing in the Win 7 registry and the wonder on my end is this: If these are removed? Does anyone, to include yourself have prior experience removing them and retaining a stable working OS afterwards, OR, am I committing MS sin by removing the entries and will spiral into the depths of BSOD Hades? I'm always looking for ways to trim the sys and hot rod it. Thanks for your reply, and most likely your patience Horatio
