How do I put IE icon on desktop, and how do I retrieve my previous emails, address book etc after having computer worked on (I'm a novice!)
I'm not very experienced but want to be able to access my email thru IE as I had someone in the past set up for me. I have over 1000 emails I'm hoping to retrieve (plus my entire address book is in IE and I don't know how to get to it)Thanks for any simplified help!1 person needs an answerI do too

To put IE on the desktop, click Start , click and hold the Internet Explorer icon with the right mouse button, drag it to the desktop, release the button, and click Create shortcuts here . Your emails and address book aren't stored in IE. They're stored in your web-based email service's (Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, etc) computer. Just log into your account to access them.Owner, Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
