How do I port forward on a router that doesn't have a port forwarding option on its web based setup page?

In the past few weeks, I've been trying to setup a game server that uses my computers ipv4 address but my friends have to join through my public IP address. So I gave them my public IP and they could not connect. I searched the internet for solutions and most of them said that I have to port forward my router to the port of the game which is 25565. The original way to port forward it is to type in my IP in the URL and visit the web based setup page to forward ports. The only problem is, my routers web based setup page doesn't have an option to forward ports so I was wondering if there was a way to do it through my PC settings or something like that so is there any way for me to forward ports aside from accessing my router's web based setup page?
