How do I pass a file to be an attachment on a new Windows Live Mail message?
I am looking for the command line to pass a file to Windows Live Mail from the (POS) software that came with a Canoscan LiDE 110 (or any scan program where I can add an entry for WLM). I think this is one of those cases where new is not synonymous with improved; five years ago this kind of thing was a slam dunk.

Hi, You may try the argument C:\the live mail path\ /attach:%1 for a test. If it does not work, I suggest to post the thread at http://www.windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?productid=15 for better help. Thanks for understanding. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
