How do I get windows 7 to sync offline files in a windows 2003 AD environment?
I have an Windows 2003 AD, with a lot of windox xp clients where every user has a remapped homefolder. On the AD I have an GPO which says that every users My Documents should be remaped to the users homefolder and make it offline when they log off and on. This works perfectly with the Windows Xp clients. How come it doesnt work in Windows 7? Remapping Windows 7 My documents work and so does hiding the control panel by an Windows 2003 AD GPO. But why doesnt the offline files sync and work when the user logs off and on? Can someone give me an solotion that works? I dont want to upgrade to Windows 2008 server just because of this little problem.

How many Windows 7 clients? Does the issue occurs on all of them? I suggest you open Sync Center and check if there is any error. Also disable firewall and check the result.Arthur Xie - MSFT
