My personal laptop is Windows 7 Professional (DELL). I am able to have a Cisco VPN AnyConnect to remote into my corporate network. However I am not able to login to the domain ADSI because my Windows logon screen is not able to accept domain\username format Can some one help out please?

You can only log on to the domain when the computer is joined to the domain. If you can't join for whatever reason, contact the Domain admin. If you are joined to the domain and you account is not displayed on the welcome screen, click 'other user' to be able to type any username. This works perfectly using domain\user syntax!
