How do I get back to Windows 7 default path settings
I was a complete bonehead and changed my path settings and now I'm not getting my PC to work as it was before. I didn't copy/save the original path and now I don't know how to get it back. Any ideas? I'm afraid I did some big damage. I'm a layman here and was doing this because another app install instructions told me that I had to add a path to my environ variable settings. I didn't really understand the implications of this. One other thing...I'd like to know how to restore my old path settings. My guess is that my path has changed since I first got the system so I guess I need to restore the last version vs. go to factory default? Can someone help a poor moron in trouble?!

Hi, consider using sytem restore to restore you computer to a known good configuration http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore. This ensures even non default path variables that where configured when you made the change are restored. MCP/MCSA/MCTS/MCITP
