The 'send' icon on my status bar continues to display, indicating that a large file I sent is still in transmission. However, the email does not appear in my Outgoing folder -- in fact, it appears in the Sent folder.Is there any way to STOP it?Thanks,EditorMA

Go to File | Work Offline in OE or IE and that will stop any internet activity. But usually a message is not entered into the sent items unless it has left the outbox, so also go to the outbox and View | Current View | Show all messages and delete the message if its visible.
