How configure my home network
Hi to all,
this is my hardware situation at home and I would like to be connected together.
1) Router-Modem ADSL
2) NAS with WiFi USB adapter
3) XBOX360 with WiFi adapter
4) Laptop with Windows 7 and WiFi integrated
IP configuration :
1) Router with IP 192.168.0.254
2) NAS connected to the router via LAN with static IP :
IP 192.168.0.100
Gateway 192.168.0.254
DNS 192.168.0.254
USB WiFi adapter :
IP 192.168.0.101
Gateway 192.168.0.100
3)XBOX360 WiFi adapter :
IP 192.168.0.102
Gateway 192.168.0.101
DNS 192.168.0.101
4)PC wireless
IP 192.168.0.103
Gateway 192.168.0.101
DNS 192.168.0.101
The problem is that XBOX360 and the Laptop show the WiFi network created by USB WiFi adapter connected to the NAS, but XBOX360 and the Laptop can't connect to Internet.
Where I wrong ?
Thank you,
Alessandro

Your gateway and DNS on those machines should be set to your router's address: 192.168.0.254.

You should connect all the PC and devices to the router. If the router can automatically assign IP address to clients, you can just configure the adapter settings to “obtain IP address automatically”.
