Thanks for the reply mr. karen hu,
You have said in your reply that resource monitor could meet my requirements, off course, it will fulfill the requirements. but a standard user cannot access the resource monitor without admin credentials.
Even though you can set up a schedule task for the standard user to run it without credentials, but it leave at a risk that a standard user could end process of a essential application (remembering that a standard user can not start or resume a process,
but could end one and that could also be started by default in the next start-up), So it would be safe to have them do their monitoring within the task manager itself, for which they have access by default
My Query is that task manager in windows 8.1 does not allow user to monitor dial-up network data transfer or the app that is currently utilizing it. The point is it allows to monitor Wi-Fi and Mobile Broadband data transfer and the apps consuming it, it
should be capable of allowing a user to monitor dial-up network connection too, since its not, this seems to be a little drawback.
I am asking is there any workaround that allows to show the dial-up connection data transfer in the task manager itself.
Expecting a solution,
Thanks in advance,
