How can i get rid of this customized text on the start-up screen???
I accidentally made it to where when i boot up my pc.. instead of going to the windows password sign in.. the text i entered comes up and i have to click OK to get past it. Im not sure how i did it. can anyone tell me how to get rid of this text please!!??

It sounds like you have the Legal Notice text displayed at logon.
Perform a registry backup before performing the following:
Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT and hit EnterNavigate to the following reg key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogonin the right windows pane, look for the "legalnoticecaption" & "LegalNoticeText"Remove any text that is displayed

The UI way of doing the same thing is Run -> secpol.msc -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> "Interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on" and change/remove the text here.Janaki Hariharan
