How can a network mapped drive be visible to every user?
I want to map a network drive on windows vista but the mapped drive (Z:\) is only visible to the user who creates it.How can it be persinstently visible to all and every user on the computer? I'm in a domain.Thanks.David

Hi David, Thank you for posting. Generally, the mapped drive can only be accessed by the user who creates it. If you want to set the drive visible to all users, I think you can try this: Please let us know if you want all the users on the computer access it on all the computers, you can create a script and use Group Policy to apply it to all the computers. If you want one computer do this, you can create a batch file with the command "net use, and I will share the following with you: Net use http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490717.aspx Hope this helps.
